Why can one address return several results?
An address may match different streets, lanes, buildings or parcels. An address returned by Atlas is a candidate; select the intended parcel by checking its location and code.
Compare candidates deliberately
Spelling correction and transliteration help retrieval; they do not certify an official address.
- Enter the street, number and, where useful, the district.
- Read the complete candidate addresses instead of automatically taking the first result.
- Check the map point and its associated outline.
- Compare the discovered code with the passport heading and source record.
An estimated point is not a boundary
An interpolated address is an approximate reference location. It does not establish an entrance, ownership or a land boundary. If the code is known, continue with an exact cadastral search.
