How should I distinguish terms in a passport?
Read object identity, geometry, registered facts and preliminary calculations separately. A matching number or colour does not erase the distinction.
Identity and space
- Cadastral code — a lookup identifier; valid syntax is not verification.
- Candidate — a possible search match that the user needs to check.
- Geometry — a point, line or polygon representing a mapped object.
- Basemap — the background used for navigation.
Planning
- Functional zone — an area’s functional category as stated in the source.
- Subzone — a more precise, numbered category; it cannot be guessed from a general label.
- Intersection — the area shared by parcel and layer geometries.
- K1 / K2 / K3 — coverage, intensity and greenery indicators, not a permit.
Evidence
- Source status — verification or incompleteness of a particular item.
- Retrieval time — when the system obtained the response, distinct from the document’s issue date.
- Cache — a stored response for faster access, not an independent original source.
- Preliminary calculation — a result dependent on verified inputs and remaining constraints.
